About M-Seedly
Empowering communities to create positive change through the power of collective giving
Trusted by over 4+ community members
Our Mission
To make fundraising simple, transparent, and a little bit fun. We believe that anyone with a worthy cause, whether it's a medical emergency, a school project, or a community garden, should have access to tools that actually work. No hidden fees. No confusing fine print. Just real people helping real people. We're building a platform where every campaign gets a fair shot, every donation matters, and every vote brings communities closer together.
Our Vision
In Kenya and eventually in Africa, no good idea fails from lack of funding. Where a mother can raise money for her child's surgery without losing sleep over platform fees. Where a young entrepreneur can turn a dream into a business with support from people who believe in them. We imagine a future where crowdfunding and community voting are part of everyday life. Where giving feels good, not just obligatory. Where every person knows that when they need help, there's a place to turn.

Our Story
From a simple idea to a growing community of changemakers
The Beginning
M-Seedly started in 2020 with a simple belief: raising money for a good cause shouldn't be complicated. Our founder watched a friend struggle to fund a family medical emergency using traditional methods that were slow, confusing, and full of hidden fees. That moment stuck. Why wasn't there a platform that actually worked for everyday people?
So we built one.
Finding Our Footing
We started small, just a handful of us working from a shared office in Nairobi, fueled by cheap coffee and big dreams. We talked to community leaders, listened to what people actually needed, and built features that mattered: lower fees, M-Pesa integration, and real transparency.
When our first campaigns went live, something beautiful happened. A mother raised funds for her child's surgery. A young farmer bought equipment to expand his business. A neighbourhood rebuilt a classroom after floods destroyed it. Each success story reminded us why we started, and each taught us what we could do better.
The Birth of Voting (2025)
By early 2025, we noticed something interesting. Campaign organisers weren't just raising money, they were building communities. Supporters wanted to engage more deeply, to cheer each other on, to celebrate milestones together. That's when the idea clicked.
What if we let people vote for their favourite campaigns? What if we turned fundraising into a friendly competition that brought people together instead of just asking for donations?
So we launched the voting feature.
Suddenly, fundraising became fun. Supporters could vote for campaigns they believed in. Campaigns could compete for visibility and prizes. Communities rallied around their favourites, sharing links, encouraging friends to vote, and raising awareness in ways we never expected. The energy was electric.
Growing Pains and Breakthroughs
It hasn't always been smooth. We've had late nights fixing bugs, payment delays that stressed out organisers, and campaigns that fell short of their goals. But every setback taught us something. We improved our support team, added instant notifications, and introduced flexible goals, so organisers could keep every contribution, even if they didn't hit their target.
We learned that people don't just want to give money. They want to feel connected. They want to see impact. They want to be part of something bigger than themselves.
Where We Are Today
Now, M-Seedly has grown into a community of thousands across Kenya. We've helped raise millions for causes that matter, such as medical emergencies, education funds, creative projects, and community initiatives. Our voting feature has turned fundraising into a movement, with campaigns rallying supporters like never before.
What's Next
We're dreaming bigger. Soon, we'll expand across East Africa, introduce more payment options, and build tools that make campaign creation even easier. We're exploring ways to help supporters track exactly how their votes and donations made a difference. We want every person with a worthy cause to feel empowered, supported, and heard.
Our Promise
Through all the growth, one thing hasn't changed: we're still a team of real people who genuinely care. We still believe fundraising should be transparent, accessible, and maybe even a little fun.
M-Seedly isn't just a platform. It's a community. It's your neighbour cheering for your campaign. It's a stranger voting for your cause. It's all of us, coming together to make good things happen.
So whether you're starting a fundraiser, casting a vote, or just sharing a story, thank you. You're the reason we exist.
Let's keep building together.
